The youth theatre was formed in September 1997 with Richard Davis as Director and Carole Andrew as Deputy Director & Choreographer, both had long been responsible for the outstanding productions at Rydens School. At the same time Esher Youth Theatre, which had been running very successfully for many years, was in danger of closing so its remaining members joined us bringing our opening membership up to approximately 45.

We became a registered charity in 1998.

After the sad death of Richard Davis in September 2011, the Youth Theatre continued under the direction of Carole Andrew.
